Allows higher penetration rates than round profile. Fragile in fractured
formation, i.e. surface set wireline bits.

For use in soft formation with face discharge, surface set T6S,
S Geobor and triple tube NK3, HK3, PG3.

W profile

Standard profile for most impregnated bits.

Sawtooth profile is used only in tripax bits.
